Martin Garrix has released his new single Catharina, marking the first time the Dutch DJ and producer sings on one of his own tracks.
The song was released through his label STMPD RCRDS and offers a preview of his upcoming album, which is expected to be released in the first half of 2026.
Garrix previously shared on social media that he had spent more than a year working on the track. He also said that releasing the song felt both exciting and nerve-racking because it is the first time he performs the vocals himself.
The single comes with a music video filmed in Madeira, Portugal, and Amsterdam, and it also includes footage from Garrix’s childhood.
Although Garrix has contributed vocals to collaborations before, such as Angels For Each Other with Arijit Singh, Catharina is the first solo release where he sings himself. He also recently announced plans for a 2026 residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza.
