Armin van Buuren Announces Exclusive F2F Residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza

Armin van Buuren is taking his groundbreaking Face-to-Face (F2F) concept to Ibiza this autumn with a brand-new residency at [UNVRS]. The five-week series celebrates 25 years of A State of Trance (ASOT) and promises an unforgettable experience, combining marathon performances with unique collaborative sets.

Running every Monday from September 7 to October 5, 2026, the residency will see Armin perform extended five-hour sets, with four nights featuring a special guest in the signature F2F format.

Each week brings a different artist into the booth for an exclusive Face-to-Face performance:

• September 14 – Eli Brown

• September 21 – Argy

• September 28 – Funk Tribu

The residency will conclude on October 5, where Armin will perform a special solo closing set to wrap up the five-week celebration.

A New Way to Experience DJ Performances

Unlike a traditional back-to-back set, the F2F concept places two DJs on separate booths facing each other instead of sharing the same decks. This setup creates a unique musical dialogue, allowing both artists to react, challenge, and inspire one another throughout the performance.

The result is an unpredictable set filled with spontaneous moments and high-energy transitions, giving fans a completely different live experience.

From Festival Success to Ibiza

The Face-to-Face concept made headlines earlier this year during A State of Trance Poland, where Armin delivered memorable performances alongside Funk Tribu and John Summit. The overwhelmingly positive response from fans quickly turned the format into one of the most talked-about highlights of the event.

Following that success, bringing F2F to Ibiza was a natural next step.
